So many good people have proven themselves to be arrogant and vain. Why? Because you will never fool YahWeh. Down through this world the phonies, hypocrites, the proud, the liars, the colonizers have talked a good game. Then the rubber hit the road and it was “curtains”.

Being good is just not enough. On your own leaning on your own understanding the flesh will win over your good intentions. Randy Travis sang long ago, “I hear tell that the road to hell is paved with good intentions…”

There’s traps all over this life it’s true so what can you do? Well, a famous comedian asked me this some years ago. I told him that as a human you have to know your limit. You have to be able to know when to let go and let GOD.

What about me? I don’t move on anything unless YAHWEH says so!!! I just can’t. If I had any power my whole life would be different! I thought my family had the same heart I did. I thought my children shared my soul. I was wrong, wrong, wrong. “Lean not upon your own understanding.” “Each one is drawn out by their own heart whether it be evil or good.” I thought love covers a multitude of sins. It does, but it doesn’t change hearts, minds or souls. I can’t make you be saved because I love you. I can’t give you salvation. I can’t beg you to love God with you whole mind, body and spirit. I tried.

I talked and talked and talked some more to no avail.

Then I had to face the fact that you are dead to me. I let go and let GOD. I grieved your loss then GOD said: If you love the ones who hate ME you are not worthy of me.”
