The Man who loves me

Is a wise old man

He does more for me

Than anyone can

Because each morning he presents himself

With a humble heart God does everything else

God leads him and directs his steps

God shields him from demons

God increases his wealth

God protects him from afar

You can’t hurt him

No matter who you are

He loves God from within

He has no enemies all are friends

Because God wakes them in the morn

God keeps them too in their storm

God directs the lion’s steps

God does as HE wants

God helps whom HE helps

The Man who loves me understands

He holds my hands and helps me stand

God holds His hands and helps Him stand

When I fall, He keeps His faith

When he falls, I keep my faith

No matter who falls we always pray

And seek God’s Face in every way

“I love The Lord!” is what I say

The Lord loves us, that’s His way

Forgives us our sins is how we pray

We stay humble night and day

Wise as serpents, innocent as doves

Let everything we do be surrounded by love

Let us harm no one, is how we pray

We glorify God everyday

Let us make the right choices

Lord, we pray

I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Luke 11:9-13

I didn’t know what to ask for

The Man who loved me did

I didn’t know what to do

The Man who loved me did

I didn’t know what I couldn’t know

God gave the knowledge to Him

And when the time came to act

He DID.

When it came time to man up

He DID.

When it came time to be blessed

We WERE.

He asked, GOD answered and gave

We sought, and so we have found

We knocked, and God opened doors for us

When we had a choice, we ALLWAYS chose God

When we were offered another route

We stayed God’s course

We have cried along this road

But we gave Jesus our heavy load

Now, in Faith we stand

Our life in God’s hand

Knowing that we have done

All we can

In love faith and loyalty we stand

Me and The Man who loves me

In God, in Whom we trust forever.
