Winter Weather Advisory issued January 16 at 1:51PM MST until January 18 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Denver CO

Larimer County Below 6000 Feet/Northwest Weld County; Boulder And Jefferson Counties Below 6000 Feet/West Broomfield County; North Douglas County Below 6000 Feet/Denver/West Adams and Arapahoe Counties/East Broomfield County; Elbert/Central and East Douglas Counties Above 6000 Feet; Central and South Weld County

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6
inches, with locally up to 8 inches near the base of the foothills
including Boulder. Lighter amounts of 2 to 4 inches around
Greeley. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph east of I-25.

* WHERE…Fort Collins, Boulder and the western suburbs of Denver,
Denver, Castle Rock, and Greeley.

* WHEN…From 4 PM Friday to 5 PM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be hazardous with slick and snow covered
roads. There is potential for flash freeze of road surfaces for
the latter portions of the Friday evening commute.
