You can’t control that
They get the benefit or curse for that
What matters is what you do
Despite what others do
You decide to trust a fool
That’s up to you
You decide to be jealous and untrue
That’s up to you
You choose to be manipulated
That’s up to you
You choose to blame others for what you could NEVER do
That’s up to you
You choose to understand you
That’s up to you
You choose honor over disgrace
You choose to good choices over mistake
You choose life, goodness, and grace
You choose integrity and faith
You choose safety to be great
You put aside delusions and shame
You rebuke possession and death
You rebuke mental illness and everything else
That keeps you from your destiny
That those who pray for you can see
We are here sure as you breath
In your health we live and breath
Even though our faces you never see
We are here, always believe
It’s up to you to choose your destiny
If you choose self pity
If you choose self hate
If you choose abuse
If you choose to manipulate
It won’t stop GOD from being great
If you choose atheism and hate
It won’t stop GOD from being great
If you choose booze and drugs as your fate
It won’t stop GOD from being great
The world will keep turning
Time will move on
