There he was shopping
For Himalayan Salt like me
The Pink type like me
Thought he could pick up
Someone like me
But it could never be…
So, instead of being rude
I used comedy
What do you use your salt for?
Nothing said he
I laughed confidently!
We talked and we talked
He told me of his hometown
I listened without a frown
My company is expanding
So I am moving too
But it sure was nice to speak with you
He had somewhere to be
I did too
We parted as friends
Simply and true
I wasn’t assaulted
He wasn’t disrespected
He became my friend
I became his
We are in a small town
Word travels fast
I know this is a friendship
That will last
In all my travels
In all my flight
I make true friends day and night.
Laughter
Charm
Listening
Blissful calm
Four poles of our foundation laid
No manipulation, or lies
So no debt to be paid.
This is how my soft bed is made.

“When you make your bed soft, it’s easy to lay in it – it’s a luxurious reward for going the extra step to be kind.”
