If you happen to open a document that you need to modify for work be VERY CAREFUL. Adobe will offer to help you process this action item and all you have to do is sign up for a trial annual subscription for $14.99 per month when the trial period ends… so people have been hit up for $32.99 per month.
Why is it a scam? Well in your regular work life you will never have to use Acrobat Pro DC ever again. I mean NEVER. It was easier for me to print the document fill it out and scan back to the requester.
For months I have been charged the $14.99 per month. Today I had to research to find the information to cancel this charge. Here it is:

This scam was set up especially for remote workers as the pandemic bloomed fully.
If you use Acrobat READER then you should not be charged anything. If you want to EDIT and SAVE your revisions to an Acrobat document THEN Acrobat will send you a prompt that says hey sucker you can save your document if you just pay this fee after the trial period.
Then you actually try to save the document with your revisions and IT DOES NOT DO IT! This scam came to me as I was filling out my Notary Republic License information for the state. Oh, how I thought it was a good idea! It wasn’t. Now, I go to cancel the stupid thing and out of this “dinosaur’s” butt comes:
You can cancel just pay this cancellation fee of $70.00.
That is correct. No problem.
Not only will I pay the cancellation fee but I will process a blog to let everyone know my experience + I will not be utilizing any other Adobe products ever again. Adobe is NOT a reputable company at all.

Ms. Pandemic is uncovering all the scammers, con artists, bigots, murderers and financial killers. I am grateful ain’t you? We can now make better choices and decisions. Sidenote: Remember when Italy and other countries were giving away land and homes to Americans… those who took on that deal are not having to pay $2,600 a month for an efficiency apartment not including utilities now.
Darlings, do you believe that America will mend her wicked ways NOW? I look at the ever growing homeless populations without so much as a glance from America yet she is sending billions and billions and billions overseas and looking to give another billion to Asians as Asia is tightening their ass backwards business practices in Africa.
