The Daughters of Men

It started with her so why not end it with her. The Watchers looked down and saw the beauty of the daughters of men. They desired them. So they made human bodies for themselves and went down to earth, married and had children. They had forsaken their original place and chosen to be of flesh and blood.

They were counseled. They were forewarned. However, the Watchers chose love, and family even with the events of death to be loved by the daughters than to be immortal and relegated to watching only. They longed to participate. They yearned for this human experience. Within a flash of time their desires were granted with a twist.

Not only would they be allowed to love, marry, protect, and care for the daughters of men; they would know the pain, misery, and heartache that is so often experienced in human form by these daughters.

They would know the ultimate experience as a daughter themselves. They would know menses, they would know labor and delivery, they would know death.

Over time, they have improved the lives of the daughters of men in the western world. They have held jobs, and nursed children with their own bodies. They have worked to improve the lives of all daughters of men only to be neglected themselves.

Now they wait in silence and stillness. Now they wait in wisdom and knowledge. Now they wait as their brother finishes sifting all men body and soul. Now they wait in dignity and decency refusing to degrade themselves for the tumult of men. In truth and understanding with humility they wait.

“My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” We are truly immortal spirit having an experience in the flesh in cycles of 120 years in birth and death, death and birth. The Daughters of Men have learned to interfere no longer with the Fates of Men. Though we love them, they must meet Fate with valor in decency and on their own. Selah.
