Over five years ago the Universal Negro Improvement Association placed itself before the world as the movement through which the new and rising Negro would give an expression of his feelings. This Association adopts an attitude not of hostility to other races and peoples of the world but an attitude of SELF-RESPECT, OF MANHOOD RIGHTS ON BEHALF OF 400,000,000 BLACK PEOPLES OF THE WORLD.
Charity begins at home.

We represent peace, harmony, love, human sympathy, human rights, and human justice – that is why we fight so much. Wheresoever human rights are denied – there the Universal Negro Improvement Association finds a cause.

At this time, among all the peoples of the world, the group that suffers most from injustice, the group that is denied most of their human rights is Black people.
Charity begins at home.

You and I fare no better in America, in the British Empire, or in any other part of the White world; we fare no better than any Black man wheresoever he shows his head. And why?
Charity begins at home.

Why should ANY other race of people listen to you – when you have neglected, abused and damned your own?

CHARITY. BEGINS. AT. HOME.

Because we have ALLOWED ourselves to be led, educated, to be directed by any other fellow, who has always sought to LEAD the World even though he was NEVER qualified to do so. We have allowed ourselves to be a race of followers, following/supporting/worshipping every other race. Every other race utilizes Blacks to undergird their own communities at the expense of the Black community.
Charity begins at home.

How can we support Black businesses when Black families are neglected and denied? How can the Black community be salvaged when Black Children despise their own Mothers because their Black Fathers have abandoned the Black Mothers of their children AND underpays her for her work in his Black owned business making sure she qualifies for food stamps and government projects? How can the Black community be redeemed when non Blacks ask the Black in their midst, what should we do? And THAT Black says, “Do. Nothing.”

Charity begins at home.

What will become of the Black Community when the Black Son wants a sexual relationship with EVERY Black person in his community, even his own Black Mother, even against their will? Yet he venerates the other races and “counts it all joy” when they rape, steal from and disintegrate his own Black Community.

We. Refuse. To. Be. Followers. Anymore.

While you are out feeding your soul and spirit to the oppressor. The oppressor destroyed your home.
