One day we came home and the door was open. My recently deceased Grandmother’s property that my mom had was gone. We were fussed at for entering the house. We didn’t know what to do. We weren’t told what to do if this ever happened again. We were all alone, unsupervised with no direction. My parents did not talk to us and we didn’t talk to each other. We were latchkey
kids.
All we had was God and the prayers of the seniors around us. Guess that was enough… right??
