How to hear from Almighty God

This past week I was actually speaking to GOD like a regular person and I heard the response. My life changed drastically. I always feel like there is a barrier between us. I don’t know what it is or where it comes from. Do you ever feel this way too?

My thinking changed somehow and I prayed to GOD in a different way. There was no pretext or predisposition. I just talked with GOD. GOD approved of my words because HE acted on my behalf and changed my life. I changed in a way that GOD approved of. The cloud over my life lifted. I am in a beautiful place because I am truly connected to GOD Almighty after all of these years. It’s been a long journey.

Top 10 Ways to Stand Firm Against Spiritual Attacks

What I felt was like I was walking through sludge. I could not see GOD working in my life. Yet, I continued to pray, study the word, and think about GOD singing spiritual songs, reciting scriptures to myself, and praying to Almighty GOD. Then I felt the gloominess move from over my life. I was able to sleep peacefully. I had happy dreams of other happy people. My life changed in an instant.

10. Fix Your Eyes on Christ

When doubts swirl, set your gaze steady on the One who overcame the grave. “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2). Keep that focus laser-sharp, and watch how confidently you withstand every spiritual assault.

9. Give Your Worries to God

Carrying burdens alone wastes energy. Hand them over, as we learn: “Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Trading your stress for His peace frees you to stand firmly when attacks come your way.

8. Practice Thankfulness

Gratitude flips your perspective. Embrace this truth: “Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). No matter the challenge, marking your blessings draws you closer to the One who supplies all you need.

7. Rely on the Holy Spirit’s Guidance

You’re never fighting alone. Jesus comforts us: “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things” (John 14:26). Lean on the Spirit’s leading, and you’ll find renewed strength right when you need it most.

6. Cultivate a Servant’s Heart

Living for others is a powerful defense against darkness. We read, “For you, brothers, were called to freedom; but do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another in love” (Galatians 5:13). Compassion and generosity fortify you against discouragement.

5. Submit to God’s Authority

Humility is underrated, yet vital in winning spiritual battles. “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). Surrender your anxious heart and trust the One who stands victorious over all forces.

4. Surround Yourself with Encouragers

Building each other up is like forging steel. Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Find those friends or groups who point you in the right direction and fan the flames of faith when the going gets tough.

3. Strengthen Your Heart with Scripture

Filling your mind with daily truths is like packing your suitcase with all the gear you need. Reflect on “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). The more you know, the less room fear and doubt have to creep in.

2. Anchor Your Day in Prayer

Prayer isn’t just a quick fix; it’s a lifeline. Scripture declares, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Philippians 4:6). Carve out moments in the morning, at lunch, or whenever you can to keep that connection with heaven strong.

1. Clothe Yourself in God’s Armor

Spiritual battles can be daunting, but you have mighty protection. As it is written, “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:11). Picture yourself donning a heavenly helmet and shield—spiritually fortified and ready for whatever comes your way.

To be clothed in the armor of Almighty GOD, believers are encouraged to put on the full armor of God, which includes the following pieces:
