Accepted

It was the role of a lifetime, remote work, salary $250,000 a year plus a furnished victorian in the countryside.

The house is called Serenity. She has great bones, gothic windows with new electrical wiring and plumbing. The fixtures and lighting are all modern, a bonus. There’s a 1966 Black Mustang in excellent condition here for my private use, which I adore.

I accepted the offer because of all the benefits of course but the property is extraordinary and here’s why… there’s a tree lined private road that leads to the property and a rose garden with a trellis out back. The peace I have enjoyed has been a blessing that is truly divine.

All my life I have endured less, less of everything. Everything that gives life true meaning; peace, love, authenticity… I have worn the mask of nothingness. Not a smile nor a frown. I was raised to have no reaction to anything no matter what it might be.

A colorless, soundless, tasteless life for decades. When I accepted this role I was warned off by many who said the house is haunted, there’s UFOS, there’s strange creatures on the property, it was built on sacred burial grounds, the last tenants went missing, etc.

None of it was true.

It is lovely here. My neighbors are kind and funny. My trips to the city have been enriching and the food is remarkably delicious.

My family visits once a month and calls daily. I enjoy sending them roses from my garden. I always bring roses to my friends in town and support local fundraisers which fills me with gratitude and hope.

The job I do energizes me and challenges me every day. I look forward to staff meetings and our quarterly banquets.

I did take a chance you know? I researched the company completely. I networked with former and current employees and clients. I read my offer thoughtfully and then had an employment contracts attorney review my paperwork. Everything checked out spectacularly.

What you do does come back to you. Elohim has prospered me and gave me a beautiful life. I am am accepted by accepting my responsibility and accountability. I endured for Elohim’s glory. I responded to the ignorant with mercy and kindness. Now Elohim has prospered me and surrounded me with others who have been on the same path. Amen, the truly loving Adonai, obeying Adonai out of love and faith while loving your fellow human and yourself is the path of true wisdom and peace.

I am accepted my blessings because Adonai accepted me. Selah
