The oldest grandchild

The oldest grandchild

Isn’t always meek and mild

Lots of responsibility

Lots of accountability

Not given all that they need

Surrounded by adults full of greed

They don’t know what to do

The oldest grandchild has no clue

They need direction

They need support

They need a village

Full of heart

Instead they stumble and fall

All around them stumble and fall

They don’t know what to do

The child doesn’t know what to do

If the child has a soul of their own

They will survive become grown

But they will have scars

They will have baggage

And likely no money

Likely no firm foundation

If they can stay away from drugs

If they can refrain alcohol

If they can stay away from thugs

If they can find true love

And GOD smiles on them a touch

They will survive and find

True Love

Loyalty

Friendships

Prosperity

The baby of the family’s success

Is nothing

Unless the baby helps and honors

If then the family will survive

And thrive.

May Elohim BLESS the firstborn children always.
