I Believe

I believe that life is difficult

I believe that the earth is capable of protecting itself

I believe that only the defunct in life accept a cult

I believe you destroy yourself when you can’t prey on someone else

I believe that eventually you find your place

I believe that if you can’t face yourself you will lie to everyone else

I believe

I believe that some humans are just low

I believe that the low can grow

I believe the confused can find clarity

I believe the miserable can find hope

I believe that the lost can be found

I believe there is life above ground

The worms and roaches live below

Yet even them can grow

There is a purpose to it all

There is a lesson even in the fall

I believe.

Life goes on…

I believe for every drop of rain that falls
A flower grows
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night
A candle glows

I believe for everyone who goes astray
Someone will come to show the way
I believe, I believe

I believe above a storm the smallest prayer
Can still be heard
I believe that someone in the great somewhere
Hears every word

Or touch a leaf or see the sky
Then I know why
