So long President Jimmy Carter

(Washington National Cathedral) Today is the day of the Funeral of Jimmy Carter. I feel some kind of way because he was the President of my youth. Did his life make my life as a child in Texas better? No, not at all. There were so many issues that Jimmy Carter never addressed. I suppose that is the lesson of his life. Know what you can effect and what you can’t.

He focused on what he could do.

Many people made fun of him, disrespected him but he just kept on being himself and he never had a public outburst. He never said anything that would embarrass the United States of America. He helped people through Habitat for Humanity. He loved his wife and his children. He didn’t embarrass his home state of Georgia.

He was from the south. He focused on what he could do.

I know what it’s like to be criticized by people because they can not manipulate you. I know what it’s like to be mistreated by people because they can not use you.

“Eternal Father, Strong to Save” is being played now at President Carter’s funeral. I am watching it live right now. Most of the businesses in my community are closed today. Walter Mondale just finished speaking, I forgot that he existed honestly. So much happened in my childhood. One thing I won’t forget is when Reagan disrespected President Carter. It rubbed me the wrong way then and I remember it all these years later. Some actions are just wrong. Stuart Eizenstat, Former White House Domestic Affairs Advisor is speaking now.

I thank President Jimmy Carter for not destroying the most beautiful, strong and intelligent people on this planet.  For most nations and leaders today those three qualities guarantees total destruction but by GOD President Carter resisted the Devil and let God’s Will be done.  That’s alright with me. golf tennis gal wrote RIP Jimmy Carter. Thank you for your service. You will be missed, and are reunited with your lovely wife, Roslyn. I feel a flood beginning to emerge in my eyes.

Edward Nix wrote One heck of a great person. I love Jimmy Carter.

I feel that he and his Roslyn are back together.

I feel that he is happy.

I feel that they are watching this funeral now together form the other side.

A Prayer for President Barack Obama, His Administration and Congress
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 144, Romans 13:1-7
Reflection of the Heart:
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at
times of challenge and controversy.” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Scriptural Prayer:
Almighty Father, we honor You. You are great and Your power is absolute. Your understanding is beyond
comprehension. We love You and extol Your Holy Name. We bow before Your holy temple and worship You. We
praise Your Name for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Your promises are backed by all the honor of Your Name.
As soon as we pray, You answer us and encourage us by giving us strength. Every king in all the earth will hear Your
Words and thank You. Yes, they will sing about Your ways. Your glory is great! We thank You, Lord, for the United
States of America. Thank You for President Barack Obama and his administration. Thank You for entrusting us to pray
for our leaders.
Heavenly Father, we declare that Your wisdom and judgment will guide President Obama, his administration and
Congress. We confess that they will not turn their backs on wisdom, for she will protect them. We proclaim that as they
hold onto Your wisdom and obey her, they will experience long life, riches and honor. Wisdom will enter their hearts and
knowledge will fill them with joy; wise choices will watch over them and understanding will keep them safe. By faith, we
decree that President Obama and his administration will not follow the advice of the wicked, stand around with sinners or
join in with mockers. But, their delight will be in Your law, and they will meditate on it both day and night. They will be
like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. We decree that their leaves will never wither and they
will prosper in all that they do.
Gracious Father, by faith we declare that President Obama, his administration and Congress will conduct their lives in
ways that please You. As a result, we are expecting You to make their enemies be at peace with them. As they make You
their refuge and shelter, we decree that no evil will conquer them and no plague will come near their homes. We confess
that Your angels will protect them and their families and uphold them in their hands. We declare that Your hedge of
safety and security will protect their families and no weapon formed against them will prosper. Every tongue that rises
against them in judgment will be condemned.
Holy Spirit, show me how I can pray specifically for President Obama and his administration:

Holy Spirit, unite the Body of Christ to pray continually for President Obama and his leadership team. Unite his
administration as they govern our nation and remind each person that they are working together for the good of the nation
and not for the advancement of self. Lord, please strengthen President Obama, his administration and Congress as they
tackle the many issues that plague this country. Help them to not be easily defeated or distracted. Help them to see Your
hand in all that they do. Please give them creative ideas and witty strategies to rebuild the economy, deal with the
environmental, medical, educational, social issues, and navigate through international affairs. When politics begin to
muddy the water, please remind our President, his administration and Congress that their first priority is to You and then
to the citizens of this nation.
Mighty Father, please forgive our President, his administration and Congress for not always consulting with You before
making decisions. Forgive them when they put their intellect above Your truth. Forgive our nation for racism, sexism
and ageism. Forgive us for idolatry, lying, deceit and character assassination. Forgive us for being self-serving, boastful,
proud and arrogant. Forgive us, as a nation, for not acknowledging Your authority and sovereignty. We realize that our
sins are many. Father, please have mercy on us. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy
Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my
remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that
you may need to forgive. As He shows you, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any
wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Magnificent Father, as a nation, help us not to yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.
Lord, You merely spoke and the heavens were created. You breathed the Word, and all the stars were born. You
assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs. The whole world will stand in fear and awe of
You. When You spoke, the world began! It appeared at Your command. You alone are the Almighty King! In Jesus’
Name, Amen.

President Joe Biden speaks on character, character, character, character as President Donald Trump shrank, shrank, shrank, shrank… why are the Trumps there? This funeral was invitation only after all. Why were the Trumps invited?

Rhonda changed the channel. She changed it back though…

Another person said that Joe Biden wants to turn America into Sodom and Gomorrah…

A White Southern Baptist who fought for civil rights for Black Americans, a brilliant nuclear engineer, a peanut farmer, a husband of 77 years – that’s character.

Matthew 5:1-16

Matthew 5:1-16

King James Version

5 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Read by James Carter, Chosen by President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalyn Carter.

Ephesians 4:32, King James Version

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

…and just like clockwork, a Philipino older woman with a gambling addiction tries to drag President Obama. I simply said to her that she is a very disrespectful person the very opposite to President Jimmy Carter. Then I turned away from her.

She is in the FAFO section of her life and I am glad to let her go on with that. As a Black American, all I had to say was said on my last ballot. Rest In Peace President James Earl Carter, Rest In Peace in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s Sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord All Mighty Forever. Psalm 23
