Detroit, Michigan – Ethan Shanfeld reported today that Debbie Nelson has passed away at the young age of 69. I was browsing Bing looking for information on the status of the martial law implementation in S or N Korea. Different reports say it’s South Korea whereas others state it’s North Korea. There it was on MSN that Debbie has passed. I can hear Marshall’s voice rapping, “F*** you Debbie!”
I have never heard Debbie’s voice, but hearing she had passed away stopped my browsing in my tracks. I had to write a response to a comment left for Marshall:

Yes, I responded to this comment in this way. Why? Because I had sons who have said the same to me. I have had many family members say that to me. Why? Because I told them no.
An older relative when I was less than ten years old showed me his big, throbbing member. I told him no and he said, “F*** you.” He never spoke to me again. The son of my babysitter used to come in at nap-time to molest me and my younger sister. It was F*** you to me because I said no, it was a yes from her…
I suppose my life has been an experiment since then…I want to meet the person whom I say no too who responds with, “I can respect that.” Anyway, I digress…

It’s hard when your own son drags your name for fortune and fame. This is one of the variables that can happen when you have children. No one tells these stories. Lucky for us, Marshall was born, grew up to be a great communicator, was sheltered and supported by the Black American Community and Culture – then reciprocated whenever and wherever he could.
He struggled, he loved his children, he was hurt, disappointed yet he was there for his little girl and walked her down the aisle to get married. I don’t think Debbie was there at the wedding per her tweet:

I look at this picture and I pray to God that all mothers good, bad or ugly take care of themselves knowing that the love and respect of family is not guaranteed.
I want all mothers to let go of expectations and just live their lives no matter what. You are a whole person all on your own. To all ladies like Tracee Ellis Ross who never became a mom, I want to say, “You are blessed!! I a truly jealous of you!!! I am sending you hugs right now!!!!”

Anyway, Debbie’s living was not in vain. She gave us Marshall Mathers. She carried him for nine months safely. She delivered him alive and well. She even put out a song called “Dear Marshall” in which she apologized with the lyric, “Marshall, I did the best I could.” She asked him to stop demeaning her.
She didn’t get what I do as an outsider. He couldn’t be successful unless he threw her under the bus.
He never did this to his Dad right? Oh, he did – one sentence stating. ” And by the way when you see my dad? Tell him that I slit his throat in this dream I had.” Nice right? This was in the song “My Name Is” which was his first song. It was just more lucrative to run his mom down in his art.
It really hurt her because she expected her son to be grateful. I believe that he was grateful. I just think that she was the one who was always telling him no. No you can’t go outside. No you can not skip school. No you can’t have liquor. Which he likely resented…
His dad wasn’t there to discipline him, protect him or anything…it was all on Debbie. Luckily, Marshall wanted to rap instead of be like Kurt Cobain right?

Do you remember what happen to Kurt Cobain in Washington State? God was looking out for Debbie’s little boy for sure!
Thus, I wrote the comment and then wrote this blog. Life is a many splintered thing and it doesn’t follow any Disney story. I wish it did so we all could live happily ever after. We just have to be like Debbie and do the best we can and go on. Don’t do drugs, don’t drink liquor but FACE YOUR REALITY no matter how much it scares you. I can write this blog today because I have faced the fact that I have seen and said no to too many penises that I can’t keep track of them all. I have seen more boobs and arses of lesbians RECENTLY than you could ever imagine. I have gotten more gifts from people I would NEVER deign to be near, so I can’t accept gifts from them. They can’t buy into my presence. I even had a Lutheran Pastor ask me to hang out with him…I couldn’t do it. I had to tell him NO. Why? Because he admitted that he was adverse to technology and into sports but his body looks like this:

Then, instead of driving a responsible vehicle for a man in his position he drove a shiny, red sports car that he was too big for as he is over six feet tall with a bleach blonde bad built butch body. He truly needed to be in a Lincoln Navigator. Sports cars are for petite people!

Anyway, here is my comment again following…what do you think about my opinion? Am I out of line? Let me know below…Thank you and God bless you for reading this far. I appreciate you and I send love and protection to you right now. You feel that? That’s ME hugging you right now!!! Love you and I am grateful for you always!
