Not so Insignificant original poem by Coletha Albert

Everything she does is correct

Insignificant

She doesn’t pick fights

Or insight riots

No nation is declaring war over her

She is modest, kind, and quiet

She doesn’t advocate for herself

She doesn’t haggle

Insignificant

She isn’t rude or belligerent

She goes with the flow

She suffers in silence

She’s modest, kind, and quiet

Insignificant

She thinks of others

Putting her own needs last

She loves to give gifts

She is easily ashamed

When she admits her vulnerability

She is embarrassed

When others underestimates her abilities

It makes her hurt and mad

Insignificant

She loves the laughter of babies

She admires the hope and faith of young people

She is magical

Ethereal and

Strong

In our world

She is insignificant

For the ordinary person

She is invisible

She is disrespected

She is lied on

She is neglected

She is misunderstood

Insignificant

To the extraordinary person

She is not insignificant

She is GOD ELOHIM

She is divine

Only the anointed can see

She is the glory of EL SHADDAI
