Trained to Lose by Coletha Y. Albert

Winter in Coletha Albert

Tell a lie

When the truth would do

Do a lot of talking

Don’t know what you’re talking to

Never say anything that matters

Giving the devil his due

Keep lying still lying

Calling it the truth

Everything is good

Long as you don’t get caught

Not knowing it’s only trouble

That you’ve bought

When you are caught

You won’t apologize

Only say you’re sorry

Even that will be a lie

You won’t learn

Cause hard is your heart

You will reap what you’ve sown

Each filthy part

Even the abuser

Will soon taste death

For others there is no “death” but something else

Trained to lose

A habit is a habit

Stop for 21 days

Be free to do something else

Like WIN.
