I have to believe by Coletha Albert

Some don’t believe in God
What a luxury
They are well fed, clothed, and beloved
What a luxury
I didn’t choose God
God chose me
I am hated for it
What a luxury
He dipped me in chocolate
So only He would accept me
He made me different
So I would never fit in
What a luxury
He made it so no one would help me
What a luxury
He made it so that all would hate me
What a luxury
I have to believe in God
It’s no choice for me
He gives me the only love I see
What a luxury
I am glad he chose me
Yes, I believe

It’s not a hardship to believe

It’s a luxury.
