Last night there was a teenager on my porch sheltering from the snow. I have never seen this young person before. I watched him quietly…
All of a sudden he began to cough wretchedly! I was immediately on guard. I didn’t think to help him or wonder about him as a person. All I could think about was the millions of tiny vermin that were alighting upon my porch.
Does that make me a bad person?
I continued to watch him carefully. He knew he was being watched. He waved and left my porch.
This is the new normal?
This morning I exited my front door armed with Lysol. I proceeded to spray vigorously! My face and hands covered in protective equipment. Did I do too much.? What can we really do to protect ourselves? The variant is airborne. Additionally, there are so many other germs.
All we can do is the best we can. Daily washing up after being outside, wearing gloves, and taking care to eat nutritionally.
