Houston Tales No. 1

Once upon a time in South Houston, Texas there lived a little girl. She was fodder and fauna for her daddy and mamma. She was deprived of oxygen. She was deprived of protection. By elementary school the tides turned and the mother decided to force the girl into a destiny that was not her own.

She schemed, she manipulated, she spokes spells, and had her daughter drink her menstrual blood. The girl became a zombie like creature with no inner voice nor inner heart. Artists around her saw how the child was abused, neglected, then abused again – they felt sorry for the little girl lost in a quagmire of numbness and nothingness.

They tried to teach the child. They tried to reach the child. She was unreachable. She was unteachable. The parents fed her the ashes of a talent who expired locally. The girl began to dance. She also became toxic. She also became violent. She also became angry, selfish, and sinister…. The artists were appalled and became aloof from the girl.

The girl grew. The girl became the woman everyone thought they knew. She is something well set apart.

She’s alone today, in her marble bathroom eating her mother’s heart.

Moral: You are NOT God and you will pay for pridefully believing that you are.
