When I was working for Holland America Line my theme music was F.K.A. Twigs. Her ingenuity and tenacity inspired me. I am not a dancer or a singer but whatever I do, I need to do to the extreme. If you see that award on this very blog…that’s what listening to F.K.A. Twigs inspired me to do. It wasn’t easy.

I had no support at Holland America Line. They did NOT support my success, but what else is new? If you are expecting a support group around you to energize your success that’s fine. What do you do when you don’t have it?

You duck, dodge, jump, hurdle, stay hydrated, get your quality sleep, don’t focus on your enemies, frenemies, or envious family. You keep your eyes on the prize.

You find those who inspire you.

For me it was F.K.A. Twigs and her energy, expertise, and creativity.

I love art that is unique.

I love coloring that is outside of the lines.

I love living from the inside out, from inside my own soul.

I learned to keep moving forward.

The lotus grows in toxicity and rises above it. I am not a lotus. I know who I am. When my environment becomes toxic it’s time to renew, refresh, and keep it moving.

Please note that EVERYONE in this video is FKA Twigs… be your own best friend and support system. You can depend on YOU.

If you are surrounded by evil / darkness / negativity it’s okay…Look for the light…

If you are sober you will be able to find the light. Even if you can’t see the light right now, if you stay away from drugs and those who use drugs, liquor, etc… when the light comes on, you will SEE it.

When you see that light you are in great condition to seize that opportunity, catch that wave… When you choose drugs, illicit sex, liquor, partying … when that light comes on…

You boat will never sink as long as no water gets into it. The water is toxicity and negativity. It can be all around you but as long as you don’t let it get “in” to your soul. That venom can’t sink your boat.
