I am not a fan of prison movies. The gangs, the fights, the drugs, the visits from lawyers, family, and friends… I suppose it’s to make most people fear prison. It’s not a place you want to end up in. I get that. So, why did I watch this movie? Only one reason, the actor Stanley Tucci himself.
This actor is extraordinary. He has a way of speaking that I enjoy listening to. He has a way of embodying a character that I enjoy watching. The first movie I saw his work in was “The Devil Wears Prada” although I watched this movie to see Meryl Streep work.
The next movie was also with Meryl Streep playing Julia Childs. (“Julia” is on Netflix but not in the USA – Bummer!) Stanley Tucci played Julia Childs husband. I was shocked to see how sexy of a couple they were. I had no idea! I don’t know if I should “know” this detail but there it was on the big screen resisting blissful ignorance. I wanted to see Stanley and Meryl work together again while finding out “how the sausage is made”. In a manner of speaking I did, and how!
All I can say after watching this series is Netflix has done it again! I give “Inside Man” 10/10.

It is poetic that Netflix has this series airing in the USA right because it is harvest time. All the crops are being harvested as I type. The weeds are being burned and the soil is being turned. It’s Harvest Time! Hallelujah!!!
