Familia Spiritus Divinitus

Somewhere in America, I spoke to a Pastor. The Pastor is a nice man. He wants me to really learn about his faith. What is wrong with that? It’s the first thing that cults do NOT do.

What DO cults do?

They love bomb you.

They never teach you about what they believe or don’t believe right out of the gate.

They let you assume various things and never correct you.

They want you to create a habit of attending.

They want you to get used to the members building a foundation for a “fake friendship”.

Why do I say a “fake friendship”? Well, it’s fake because you are not deemed a friend for your own God Given abilities. Oh No! (In Katt Williams voice…) You are expected to play a part. You play a role that they guide you into. It’s what the cult needs, not what God has called you to do.

Ugh…

Just typing these words gives me a headache – or maybe I am hungry…Anyway, people join ministries for the people. They want to worship with people who look like them, live like them, and who have paid the same dues as them.

I get it…

However, now hear me out…(in Michael Che’s voice…) What if you joined a ministry where God’s Holy Spirit is what you had in common with everyone there? What if when you saw each other – what you truly discerned was the Hand of Adonai on the person? What if when they saw you – they just “knew” you because they “KNOW” Elohim?

How would THAT be?

These are my thoughts today after meeting with The Pastor… My prayer is for all of us to be where Emmanuel has called us to be where the congregants KNOW Elohim and recognize us for whom we are: Those who truly love Our Heavenly Father, Adonai, Elohim, Yeshua, Jehovah-Jireh, Yahweh…
