Kanye actually adores his family, he just doesn’t know how to stay married. It works if you can grow together. I think Ye might have seen Kim as a strictly stay at home Mom/Wife. Or perhaps Ye thought he could have it all… I look at another couple that is similar to them and what do I see? I see the wife fading to the shadows in her own career but now supporting him in his and he is skyrocketing. It’s a gamble – Dr. Dre and his wife – but remember Dr. Dre’s wife was never a public figure. When you have 2 public figures – it works best when they can follow when the other half is hot and then lead when their career heats back up. With Ye, it seems like they were both hot at the same time. Whenever Kim was on stage, Ye was in the audience and vice versa.
With Kim’s family, it’s hard to build a team with her husband and children. That is what needed to happen but with Ye trying to keep his career going…it was hard. I sometimes wonder if he would have stayed on his meds and gotten a bit rounder just doing his fashion…oh well, sometimes when you are already living on the edge any change is a huge threat.
I really think it comes down to faith and having super thick skin to be married for 70 + years, you learn to look over the reality of another person’s development, just ask Will and Jada or Jay and Bey… it truly is a contract to share in the experiences of this lifetime. To have the same memories. I think all of Kim’s memories are shared with her family and not her husbands.
All of Ye’s memories were with his beloved Mother Ms. Donda, may she rest in peace. That’s all I have to say…it’s just so sad. So many break up because of money. They both have all the money in the world but can’t work it out. If I were writing “The Book of Kim & Kanye, The Turns of Calabasas” it would be a fairy tale, a romance, an adventure, science fiction, a drama, and now a tragedy. @Showtime hit me up for a screenplay of several adaptations of this idea…sigh…
