My God and I

For 3 years now…I have mourned a destiny that was lost.  I have mourned a fate that would never be….for 3 years now…Well, my year 3 of devastation is coming to an end and I have heard that it is time for me to step into my new future.

It’s really not new.  Honestly, I have avoided it for decades and My God allowed me to. I was allowed to deviate from my course.  My God has been patient with me.  I have known this for awhile now.  I have tried to assemble some “things” for my journey…things that I thought would give me comfort along my path.  Now after cultivating seeds for decades, I have no fruit to harvest except weeds, thorns and tears.

I am happy though.  I have peace.  I KNOW that where I must go, I have to go without a harvest.  I have to go…
