Thank God I did not stop! https://youtu.be/chKVSsY919M
If I had decided to stay in Salt Lake City, I would have been stuck like chuck!!
I kept traveling because I got a weird vibe in Salt Lake City…I pray as much as possible because I know there is a lot going on in our world. I don’t take my experiences for granted. I try to be in the moment every moment. Something was off in Salt Lake City.
The city is bustling with businesses that were not there a decade ago including Workday and Salesforce…I saw an art installation in front of the courthouse for transgender citizens who have passed away. No one was monitoring it. There was no one to tell you about the exhibit and answer questions. The exhibit was unsupervised. I thought that was very weird. I saw so many homeless people yet they were unproductive. That is something new. Usually the homeless go work in the bakery and do other work around the city for benefits like interview clothes, etc…and everyone is hiring so to see all these vagabonds was strange. I came to see the capital. I wanted to take the tour. I felt an odd vibe. An urgency for me to get back on the road and out of Salt Lake City!
I wanted to visit friends in Park City and other towns. I wanted to stop in Cedar City and take a tour. I got spooked in Salt Lake City. The airport was great though. It was very clean and not at all like I remember. I remember going there in the middle of the night to meet “our boys” as they came home from their deployments. We never want them to come home without us being there to greet them with smiles and hugs!
The airport has been remodeled and there is a lot of art installations which I adore! The airport is very nice! I was in the running to be a flight attendant here years ago and the airport was “home”. Those were the days!
Meanwhile, today, it’s already a blizzard! That’s life…always follow your first mind! I took another offer and have set up my new house far away from everything I have ever known…it turns out everything I have ever known has utterly changed anyway! C’est la vie! Thank God I live in the moment and not in the past! Selah.
