What I am…(slowly whispered)

I am your secret thoughts that only we know

I live in the hidden place where you tip toe

I am the dream that wakes you from your rest

I am your final exam, your one true test

You try to deny me to keep me away

But I am with you all night and every day

You will come my way – it’s just a matter of time

I own all the rest – soon you will be mine

I will drive you to weariness until you retire

What I am is your own deep rooted DESIRE

The sweetest release when me you satisfy

You wont’ get away no matter how you try

You won’t give me up no matter how you protest

I will get you just like I have all the rest

And at your last moment at your last breath
