Searching for Harry — Life Lessons From Around the Dinner Table
I remember Harry Connick, Jr. I remember when he married the Victoria Secret model. I remember when they had children and he got a television show. I remember that his “cool” factor began to fade. It was the TV show. First of all it was in the morning. Secondly, it was lit too bright. His music was not made for that kind of format. I understand why he did it of course. The musicians life on the road is not made for a wife and children.
In this life you can’t have everything. You have to choose. I know being a music director in an office and never touring or being in front of an audience is hard for a performer. What a family he and his wife, Jill, created. Family over fans should be an easy choice right? Then there is a residence in Las Vegas, NV right?
Anyway, I wish him, Jill, and their family the very best. They will be just fine because they do have real love.
