Eight

For eight years

I have weighted

Down my heart

Down my life

Down my soul

For eight years

Hoping you would call me

Hoping you would visit me

Hoping you would talk to me

For eight years

Praying in the dark

Praying to find my way

Praying for the day

That I would find out who I am now

That you transitioned and changed now

That you alone created a new world now

For eight years

Joseph and Me – Jon took this picture in our apartment. I was working at Wizards of The Coast in PR.
This is a picture of Joe in Houston at the Heron House in Houston, Texas he wanted to go back to Seattle because there he didn’t HAVE to do anything and I had no authority over him thanks to the Lake Forest Park, WA police.
Joe and a friend wrote these scriptures 4 months and 2 weeks before he would be killed in Seattle, Washington. He was hanging around street kids. He wasn’t a street kid. He did not see himself. He lost himself. He trusted the wrong people and he hated the right people. His dishonored his Mother, me. He dishonored his brother. He dishonored himself. He dishonored God. I forgive him. His soul is in God’s hands.
Eight years ago when Hope was buried.
A picture Joe took of me and a candidate running for Seattle City Council. in 2009 or so
This is a picture I took of Jon and Joe at Jon’s graduation from high school. I look at them and I think well, when you run a person down all your life and you are ungrateful and a horrible human being then it’s okay for said human being to let you go, walk away and never look back. Let us all reap what we have sown.

Joe never stopped grieving for Marle Mejia – she was his everything, his first love and his life. She went to Harborview to get her tonsils out and contracted a staph infection. It killed her. Joe was a light and too young in spirit for this world. Next life he will be wiser, stronger, better.

Here lies my bouncing baby boy who grew up to be not so bouncy…. Then he left using drugs and while he was high some street kids started a fight to have an excuse to rob him. He should have never been on those streets or with those kids. He just wanted friends. He had his own dreams. He wanted me to be wrong but I was right. I loved him and he loved me but he had to make his own choices and trust who he decided to trust. He thought I die to save him. Who would give their life to save a fool? Not even a great Mom. Love does NOT mean playing the fool. If someone loves you they won’t require you to be their clown either.
Goodbye Washington State. Goodbye to this section of my life. It’s been frustrating and gross. I survived and God is allowing me to be educated and vindicated. Amen. Eight

Angel number 8 is a symbol of infinity and a constant flow of energy and power. It represents material wealth, money, and success in business. I started The Joseph Dwayne Albert Foundation October 2016 and the fifth year anniversary is happening next month. I can not believe it really.

In nuclear physics, eight is the magic number. Eight is the atomic number of oxygen. All arachnids have eight legs. If you follow my blog you are aware I have had spider dreams. Spiders have eight eyes…eight means clarity. You can see things as they truly are. The eighth tooth is the wisdom tooth. There are eight levels of consciousness per Timothy Leary. A byte is eight bits.

This is just a tiny bit about the number eight from a Mom who buried her youngest son eight years ago.

Next month will be the 5th Anniversary of The Joseph Dwayne Albert Foundation. Time just keeps on flying by. The Foundation will continue to be strictly virtual and focused on the Black American Community especially single moms and their children. We are on the Secretary of State’s website. We have sold hoodies and t-shirts to write new books.

I have completed courses at Harvard, Columbia and Cornell Universities to learn how to be successful in running a foundation. I am looking forward to underwriting Black artists who attend parochial schools and are conservative yet creative.
If you would like to help young “Starlings” please get in touch today!
Thank you to everyone who liked this page and who visit regularly – and who send me notes every week and every day! To the ones who blow up my phone all day and night – Quit it. I am not going to answer pushy calls.

If you have an emergency call 911. If you are making bad decisions and no one is putting a gun to your head (per Kaeli) do NOT do what they are manipulating you to do.

Dear Reader, You are Appreciated!!!! Your feedback, comments and Likes are never missed because you are usually the only one. As I leave Washington behind and more people learn about Joseph, I expect that will change. I look forward to all the positive, productive work the Foundation will do going forward!

Have a wonderful Autumn Season!

Love,
