The Ancient of Days

Fastidiously –

I have been worried for a while. I have been horrified even as a child.

These have been distractions for me. Keeping me from posterity.

I have wondered and worried about you.

What’s in your book and what you will do.

Truthfully I have feared you.

Honestly I love you.

Love is in your book and justice too.

Care is in your book, I know it’s true.

You are not mean and you do care.

You do love me and you want to help.

In the book is exactly how…

The help will be had for all of me

To do what I am meant to be

You are magnificent! You are the tree!

That shelters and protects all of me!

Forever.

The Ancient of Days!

(Inspired by Daniel chapter 7)

Let God’s Will be DONE in my Life ALWAYS

So many times I have opened the Bible as my heart begged for, well, Everything. I need a job. I need my bills paid. I need love in my life. I need friends in my life. I need peace in my life. I need my enemies killed. I need healing. I need a husband. I need a family. It goes on and on…I can read one sentence in the Bible and it reduces me to tears of anti joy.

Living here on Earth is a constant whirlwind of miserable menageries! Even in my happiness, I am made aware of someone else’s unhappiness! I can not revel in my joy because some unhappy creature is gazing upon my joy with their misery! I hate this!!

There is a longing for more, more, more…this is covetousness? This is envy? This is jealousy?

It is a long standing issue. Long ago, you would never flaunt your wealth before the poor. Long ago, you were even more conservative if you were wealthy. For example, you drove vehicles that were older and paid for. You dressed modestly. The persons who flaunted their wealth were soon relieved of said wealth via every means available from petty thievery to internal revenue audits. The supremely wealthy could move about seamlessly without fanfare because they are never in the public eye and there are no articles written about them or their family and friends.

In the poorest of neighborhoods lived the uber wealthy. In the most public of schools are the offal of the supremely prosperous eating a cheese sandwich from home and not playing sports or going on field trips. Their monies provide clean water to municipalities. Their monies fund foundations that research new engineering patents and medical portents. Their families do not trade in lust and lechery. Their bloodlines are not bound by servants, caretakers and handlers. Their interactions are not aired on Oprah and they would never deign to socialize with Pierce, NEVER.

I know you. I see you. I worry about the choices that you are to make. I look to see your steps during this pandemic. There is so much that is not known about you but I want you to know; I know you are there. I see you. I miss you.

Ancient of Days, Bless Me and Joseph Dwayne Albert.
