I am listening to Tony Gaskins and he posits that women are influential over men more so than God. He says a man’s focus is women and money. Tony is on his path and living out his purpose. He loves the Lord. He knows the Lord. If it only takes God to change every man then each one would be altered toward divinity.
I believe Tony is onto something, however, I believe there is something more to this; God has appointed a time and place for us all.
Biblical examples go both ways regarding influence including in between.
Examples of in-between: Job to his wife, “As one of the foolish you speak…” He did not curse God because his wife said he should. I really admired this about Job. Job’s life fills me with POWER. I bless Job’s soul right now. What an extraordinary spirit! What a testament to a man and his utter integrity to God. I know of so many people from children to adults who shift responsible for their misconduct to others:
“My dog ate my homework.”
“The Devil made me do it.”
Per Dave Chappelle, “…Well, what was she wearing?…”
Per Dave Chappelle, “…someone has to teach these kids, there is no free trips to Hawaii…”
Per Adam, ” The woman you gave me…”
Per Eve, “The snake…”
Per Cain, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” (This one makes me weep in despair EVERY time I read it.)
What is the heart of the matter? Well, it’s really very cut and dry:
1 John 3: 8-10 states that Who ever makes a PRACTICE OF SIN IS OF THE DEVIL….No one BORN OF GOD MAKES A PRACTICE OF SINNING and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of GOD. BY THIS; it is evident who ARE the children of GOD and who ARE the children of THE DEVIL; whoever does not practice righteousness IS NOT OF GOD, nor is the one WHO DOES NOT LOVE HIS BROTHER.

Everything is by God, through and for Jesus Christ with Holy Spirit including influence, love and hatred for God states in Genesis 3:15
“And I WILL put ENMITY between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring…he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
What is enmity? It is defined as the state or feeling of being actively opposed or hostile to someone or something. The similes are hostility, animosity, antagonism, friction, antipathy, animus… Enmity comes from an Anglo-French word meaning enemy…again the source is Anglo – French.
The basis of hatred, envy (in my opinion) began simply because of God’s favor being shown to one and the other became jealous. That simple. Regarding the seed of her and the serpent, well, I believe that matter was settled in generation one. What happened to Cain’s seed? They were long gone even before the great flood of Noah’s day. Regarding the great cities that Cain built I know they were all destroyed…how? Well, when the Anglo-Saxon began to venture to other continents they were seeking the cities of Cain. I believe that they are truly of the belief that Cain is who they come from…this is the basis of their hunting, camping, killing and building. Perhaps it’s true because the suicide rate among the Anglos is astronomical. The “lost” conduct of the Anglo woman is something I can’t bear to look upon. What invigorates me is that even so God is merciful and loving. What amazes me is among all of us He draws His own. It doesn’t matter the race, the ethnicity, the financial capacity…His and her seed are KNOWN to God and places a halo upon their heads and commands His angels to protect them. Even when they succumb to Death, the God of All Understanding remains Supreme as His Beloved Son holds the keys to Death and Hades.
